Prominent Ear Operation /Otoplasty

Ear is a crucial organ both carrying aesthetic and functional importance on body. Different shape disorders may form on ears including deformities and misshapings when born. Otoplasty generally changes the size and curve of ears, make them smaller or get them closer to the head.

No accomodation In this operation accomodation in the hospital is not necessary. Ears are bandaged for three days. After the bandages are removed it is appropriate to take a shower. Following the operation slight edema and cyanosis can occur, this goes back to normal in 1-2 weeks. It takes a few months to see the permanent results, in this period the patient is satisfied with the look.
