Restylane / DermaFilling Injections
|
 The most commonly used treatment to fill in facial wrinkles is Restylane treatment. With the volume formed treatment of lips, lines, wrinkles and facial curves is provided. It is performed rapidly and easily and visible results are readily acquired. Restylane which is produced as a transparent and colorless gel forms an integrity by mixing with your skin’s color, when it is placed on the top layer of your skin.
As people get older collagen and elastic fibers under the skin start to break down and get older. Although these breakings are a part of our aging process, too much frowning, squinting while looking, smoking, smiling and other facial mimics contribute to such breakings.
Restylane is injected into regions where the body’s own hyaluronic acid density is decreased. It provides treatment by forming volume in the regions where injection is applied. Results are seen very rapidly and no scar is left as a result of the injection.
As in Botox treatment, restylane treatment is also named as “lunch break” procedure. Generally, the application lasts less than 20 minutes.
Restylane is injected into your own collagen which is present under the wrinkle below the skin. The required number of injections varies depending on the depth and length of the wrinkle. Multiple injections may be needed.
Restylane is not animal origin as other filling materials which can be decomposed with bacteria. This fact minimizes allergic reactions and prevents animal diseases to be transferred to humans. A mild induration can occur for a few hours in the treated region. Bruises which can easily be closed by make-up may also be seen. Allergic reactions are observed very rarely. These reactions may appear as erythema, pruritus or indurations in the region of injection. Therefore, restylane usage is fully safe and no test is required before treatment.
After restylane injections you can return back to your normal activities. Results last for 3-6 months depending on the region treated.
An alternative to facelift operations
Since treatments do not include any surgical operation, they are an alternative for facelift operations. Since restylane gives a natural appearance, there is no need to take tissue from another region of the body. Restylane can also be used in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures including microdermabrasion, chemical peeling and even facelift operations.
